My name is Dusko Markovic and I am an experienced Software Engineer having worked for 11 years for the DIN (Phillip Morris) - Serbia. Forwarding Specialist with over 12 years of experience. Also worked as an Import - Export Manager for 10 years. Speaking fluently Serbian, Greek and English while also capable to communicate in many more languages ( Slovenian, Croatian, Bulgarian etc ). Graduated from the Polytechnic College, Department of Informatics Technology of Serbia.

Informatics
The knowledge of Informatics Technology is something that always interested me while also something that gains more importance each day that passes. Having graduated from the Polytechnic College Department of Informatics Technology in Serbia, helped to prepare as a Software Engineer to work for the Department of Electronic Data Processing for the Serbian Cigarettes Factory (now Phillip Morris) of the city Nis (Serbia).
My role there was to write programs using the IBM-3 system, Transforming and Transporting global programs in Honeywell-Bull system 6, creating program masks using COBOL language for user’s H/Y in factory, working with various types of PC’s and technical characteristics while following-up IT seminars.
The experience I gained from these 11 years as a Software Engineer helped me to expand my capabilities and knowledge to the ever-growing IT industry some of which are using Windows OS’s (3/11, 95, 98, XP, Vista, 7, 10), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop and many more.
Later on, I worked for other companies in Greece making the designing and production of their new advertising catalogues, educating personnel on IT issues, while also maintaining the informative network of companies (occurred to maintain up-to 46 computers). Some of the special moments were, creating a web page translated in Greek and English and producing a database with over 1 million active product codes for a company.

Forwarding
Professional Forwarder, with more than 12 years of experience providing Forward Planning, Freight Forwarding and Transporting Management services for several -leading of the industry- companies in Greece for the European area. My professional role is to plan cargo – freight loads by week, month or year. I am also responsible for tracking and managing cargo – freights to assure that the quantities are as agreed in the assignments of the loads, while alongside communicating in real time with the clients and the established professional Forwarder partners from Greece and other countries to keep everything coordinated. Of course, all of this is needed to provide improved the quality of services towards older as well as newer clients, communicating with them in order to inform them for all the necessary on-going details of their goods.
Translating
Natively speaking the Serbian language while also using fluently Greek and English as foreign languages. Capable to communicate with several other languages like Slovenian, Croatian, Bulgarian, Bosnian, Macedonian, Montenegrin.
Had the experience to work as a Simultaneous Translator on multiple occasions combining all the needed language resources. Also, provided services of translating texts relative with catalogs or computing with technical details to the needed translated versions.
